Last week I hired Dr. De - one of the best bio-hacking doctors on earth.
SO many of the people in 100 Million Mastermind (including Joel Marion) have told me that Dr. De changed their life...
Eliminated back pain...
Helped them lose weight more easily...
And helped reverse some chronic health issues...
(their words, not mine)
Sometimes he even finds issues that you didn't know you had - and can literally add years to your life...
Among MANY other things (just keeping it brief for now).
So I paid him $17,000 to run these same tests on me & Julia (just involves a simple blood draw to get all this amazing feedback about your own body).
The other day we got back our first round of results...
And, sure I learned a few things about myself (I'll know much more in the coming weeks).
But all in all, the doctor told me I was pretty healthy.
And it gave me a sense of security.
But here's where things get weird:
I FULLY expected him to tell me to work on fixing 1-2 major things.
But since he told me I was essentially 'good to go'...
I got too comfortable.
And when I left for the Copy Accelerator event this week...
I "forgot" my running shoes...
I started not caring what I ate at restaurants...
And I slept in instead of going to the gym...
All because I was told that I was healthy. I had the mindset of "cool, I guess I can let my healthy habits slip for a few days while I'm traveling."
On the OTHER hand...
I also had a realization this week that I'm not where I want to be business-wise.
I'm in this event room SURROUNDED by people doing 8 & 9 figures:
Nick Daniel from V-Shred...
Chance & Abdul from the Modern Millionaires...
Marisa Murgatroyd from Live Your Message...
Craig Shah, a luxury Swiss watchmaker that's starting one of the biggest NFT projects out there...
And that's JUST a few of the speakers... Not to mention the amazing attendees here.
Point is... I'm sitting here thinking, "What the heck is WRONG with me? Why am I not hitting 8 figures yet?"
I still have to 3-4x to get to 8 figures... And I'm sitting at the event instantly implementing or taking notes on what I'm learning.
Now...
Given that I'm healthy and I run a business that does $3MM per year...
You'd think that I'd be content with both.
But I'm not.
The doctor told me good news. So I stopped working hard.
The business event told me that I can be better. So I started working harder.
Moral of the story: Don't pat yourself on the back too much. ALWAYS have someone who can critique what you should be doing better.
If everyone tells you that you're doing great, how the heck are you supposed to improve?
I know it's comforting to hear a compliment... But rarely do you grow in that situation.
Growth comes from people ahead of you telling you that you can be better. And helping carve the path for you.
Make sense?
Hope so. Because this advice can literally change your life.
A lot of people might say it's too harsh... But that's why the 1% are the 1%.
And that goes for anything, not just business.
Peace,
Troy "truth-bringer" Ericson
