One of the top questions I've received recently about the Gmail Anti-Spam Update is...
"How do I tell if my emails are being blocked by Gmail?"
As a refresher, earlier this month Gmail started to block email senders who don't have proper SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records.
As of now, a percentage of your emails will be blocked... And before summer, they will block you entirely if you don't have this fixed.
But... How do you know if you're blocked?
Here's how to tell if you're blocked by Gmail:
Step 1. Go to MailGenius.com. It's my email spam tester that will tell you if anything is wrong with your emails or DNS settings.
Step 2. Copy the email address on the screen.
Step 3. Send an email to that address. Make sure to send it from your ESP (or wherever you send your marketing emails from).
Step 4. Click the green button.
Step 5. Your test results will appear. If there are any SPF, DKIM, or DMARC errors, it will tell you how to fix them so you don't get blocked by Gmail.
Plus, it will tell you about a WHOLE bunch of other potential issues with your email marketing... And how to fix them.
A lot of people are shocked by how many things they didn't know they were doing wrong.
That's why I love MailGenius. It'll help you fix it all. And if you have any questions, just send me an email.
Click here to use MailGenius.com & find out if you are blocked by Google.
Enjoy,
Troy
